THE GREAT BANQUET

The feast is ready,

And He is calling

To all and sundry,

Come in eat, drink

And be merry He said,

But instead of people

To come in for the

Great banquet they

Are so busy doing

Their own things,

And refused to

Attend the banquet.

The feast is ready,

And He is calling                                            

To all and sundry,

Everything has been

Provided by the host,

Food, drink, and

Everything is ready,

Hear His invitation

“Come for everything

Is now ready.”

But people are not ready.

The feast is ready,

And He is calling

To all and sundry,

Stop making excuses

And honour His invitation

To the great banquet,

Let not the distractions

Of this world hinder

You from honouring

This special invitation,

There is room for all

And sundry He says,

Do not turn down the

Invitation to this great banquet.
