Oh that men would praise the lord,
for His goodness
And for His wonderful works, He created the
heaven,
The earth, the sea, the dry Land, He causes
His sun to
Rise on evil and the good, and sends His rain
both on
Righteous and the unrighteous, He shows no
partiality
To princes and does not favour the rich Over
the poor,
For He is a just God that
loves all His children
Equally, Praise be to the name of our God
forever.
Oh that men would praise the lord,
for he is our
Present help in times of trouble,
He promised never
To leave nor forsake us, even
in our unfaithfulness,
He remains faithful, While we
were still sinners He
Gave His only begotten son to die for us on
the cross
Of Calvary, He that spared not His own son,
but delivered
Him Up for us all, is this not evidence that
He will not
Withhold any good things from
us? Let everything
That has breath praise Him
for His loving kindness.
Oh that men should praise the
lord, for He is the
Great and mighty God, the
mighty man in battle,
By His mighty hands He
drowned Pharaoh and
His chariots, He is always at
alert to fight the battle
Of His children, He says “I
will contend with those
That are contending against
you.” For our battle is His,
Hear His comforting word “Be
still and know that I am God.”
Let the entire earth offer
unto our God the sacrifice of praise!
