Here I am, I stand at the door and knock,
If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come in and eat with him and him with me.
Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts,
As you did in rebellion, yield to Him today,
He is waiting patiently for you.
For He is our God and we are people of His pasture,
The flock under His care, He owns us body soul and spirit,
We belong to Him, ‘cos He made us in His image.
The message of the cross, is foolishness
To them that are perishing,
Satan who is the god of this world has
Blinded the minds of those who won’t believe.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you,
Seek him when He may be found,
Call upon Him while He’s near.
If you hear His voice today,
Harden not your hearts,
Quickly open the door of your heart to Him,
And welcome Him to your life.
