TEXT: EZEKIEL 12:3-6
Our God can send information or warning to us through any
means. He can decide to use different methods of communication to talk to His
children, He can use verbal and non verbal like objects. Events and symbol to
pass His message across to us.
Most times, people wait for God to talk to them through
the still small voice, prophets, dreams, or through the word. Having this
mindset, makes us not to recognise when God is using an objects, or events that
are happening around us to talk to us.
In our text, God decided to use Ezekiel to dramatise what
will happen to the nation of Israel if they fail to turn away from their evil
ways. Therefore son of man, pack your belongings for exile and in the daytime,
as they watch. Set out and go from where you are to another place. Perhaps they
will understand, though they are a rebellious house. (Ezekiel 12: 3-4)
It is very important to be sensitive spiritually; we
should be ready to hear God speak to us through different means. He can decide to pass message across through
signs. He told us the signs we will be seeing during the end time. So also He
can tell us different things through signs.
Be sensitive in your Spirit so that you will be able to
understand His sign language.
